It seems that most people who remember me do so because my parents owned Ducker's Deli. I don't take offense to that at all, because I was always proud of my folks for all they accomplished. For those who knew my parents (it seems many people did), they are both gone now. My dad died in 2004 and my mother in 2007. They lived in the same house (on Sunnyslope) for 49 years! For those who knew me well, you may have also known my siblings. My older sister, Ricky (Rochelle), passed away four months after my mother did, at the age of 62 - a horrible loss. My sister, Sandra, has been married to the same man for 30+ years (quite an accomplishment for our generation). My brother, Mark, stayed in the restaurant business, and he manages a major restaurant in the Santa Clarita Valley. He is married to a wonderful girl who we all love. I worked for L.A.
